Bloubos Retreat is a guest cottage situated on Wathaba farm

The main house is comprised of a kitchen, lounge with a fire place, veranda and the main bedroom. The main room has a queen-size bed and en suite bathroom with a shower and toilet.

In the upstairs loft there are 4 single beds with an en suite bathroom with a bath and toilet.

There is a separate free standing rondawel with 4 single beds.  These guests in the rondawel share the bathroom with the guests in the main bedroom. The bathroom has two doors that can be opened and locked from inside or outside the house,

In total the cottage can sleep up to 10 people.

It is a furnished with a fully equipped kitchen.  There is electricity but there is a “donkey” geyser for hot water.  Bedding is provided (when option with bedding is chosen) as well as bath/shower towels.  There is a grid that can be used braai facilities the boma fire or inside the “donkey” geyser in case of rain, and ample fire wood is provided inclusive of the overnight costs.

The cottage is approximately 100m from the swimming pool and 800m from the start of both hiking trails.  The Lynx Loop is a 10km circular trail and the Bosbokroete is a 4km circular trail. There is a little trading store (shop) and a nature centre approximately 100m from the start of both hiking trails.

 

The tariffs for Bloubos Retreat:

 

Bloubos has to be booked for a minimum of 2 nights & minimum 4 adults

Adults:

R390-00 per adult per night with bedding and towel.

R330-00 per adult per night if you bring your own bedding and towel

Children under 12 years:

R220-00 per child under 12 years per night with bedding and towel.

R210-00 per child per night if you bring your own bedding and towel

 

Banking details will be provided upon booking.

 

50% deposit is payable within 72 hours of booking to secure your place and the balance is payable one month prior to date of arrival.
